The summer of 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to work at Street Sense Media, a non-profit newspaper with a unique focus on homelessness in D.C. Working for this organization often pushed me beyond my comfort zone and allowed me to refine my journalistic and design skills. During this internship, I was given the chance to design covers, create infographics and layout the entire newspaper.
